Earnee is an iPhone app that shields distracting apps until you complete your real-life targets. This policy explains what data the app and this website handle.
Your targets, timers, completion history and streaks are stored locally on your iPhone. They are not uploaded to our servers and we cannot read them.
App shielding uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. The app selection you choose is handled by iOS with privacy-preserving tokens. Earnee never receives, stores or transmits the names of your apps or your usage statistics.
Earnee does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or location.
If you agree to share diagnostics with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may send us aggregated, anonymous crash and performance reports. Apple also provides anonymous, aggregated App Store statistics such as downloads. Neither identifies you personally. Purchases and subscriptions, if offered, are processed by Apple — we never see your payment details.
This website is a simple informational page. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs for security and reliability. See our Cookie Policy.
Because your data stays on your device, you can delete all of it at any time by deleting the app or clearing its data. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of any personal data we hold; contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Earnee is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, mention it in the app.
