Privacy Policy
The short version
Earnee has no accounts and no sign-in. Your targets, streaks, settings and proof photos live on your iPhone. The one thing that leaves your device is a proof photo at the moment you submit it, and only so it can be checked against the target you wrote. We do not sell your data, run ads, or track you across other apps.
What stays on your device
Your daily targets, weekly routines, completion history, streaks, XP, achievements and app-blocking preferences are stored in Earnee's own storage on your iPhone. Proof photos are written to the app's private folder. Deleting the app removes all of it. We keep no copy and cannot recover it for you.
Screen Time and the apps you block
Earnee uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to shield the apps you choose. Apple hands the app opaque, per-device tokens rather than names, so Earnee never learns which apps you selected, and that selection never leaves your iPhone. Your usage data is handled by iOS and is not readable by us.
Proof photos and the verification check
Photo proof works only with a live camera capture; there is no photo-library access and Earnee never requests one. Checking is optional: you are asked before the camera opens, and you can turn it on or off at any time in Setup. If checking is on, a resized copy of the shot is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI processing provider when you submit it, and the provider returns only a match or no-match result with a short reason. The photo is sent for that single check and is not attached to an account, a name, or a device identifier. The original stays on your iPhone in your proof gallery, where you can delete it at any time. If checking is off, or the check cannot run, no photo is sent anywhere.
Subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple. Earnee uses RevenueCat to validate receipts and tell the app whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier and your App Store receipt. It does not receive your name, email, or payment details — Apple never shares those with us.
Notifications and the camera
Notification permission is used only to send the reminders you set up in the app. Camera permission is used only while the proof screen is open. Both are optional, and declining either leaves the rest of Earnee working.
Tracking
Earnee contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no third-party trackers. Nothing you do here is linked to your identity or shared with data brokers, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt is needed because there is nothing to track.
Children
Earnee is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your control
Delete any proof photo from the gallery, reset your data from Setup, or delete the app to remove everything at once. Because there is no account, there is no server-side profile to request or erase.
